Pairing checklist
Before pairing, make sure to locate your ANT+ ID on your power meter, then follow these tips below for all head units and apps being used with the Stages power meter.
- For pairing over ANT+, your device will find your power meter as "Power 01234" or "PWR 01234", where 01234 represents your 4-5 digit ANT+ ID.
- For pairing over Bluetooth, your power meter will show up as "Stages 01234", where 01234 represents your 4-5 digit ANT+ ID.
- For left/right power meters, always pair to the left power meter only.
- If you're pairing to a brand new power meter, make sure to remove the plastic battery isolation strip from behind the battery before using your power meter. For left/right power meters, remove this strip from both sides.
- Confirm your power meter is awake when pairing by checking the LED indicator light. The LED light will blink intermittently for the first 60 seconds after the power meter is awake.
- After pairing, it's a good idea to perform a zero reset. See our other article How do I calibrate my Stages Power Meter? for more details. Zero reset or calibration instructions are listed in the pairing sections for most head units below.
