The Stages Power meter firmware is easily upgraded using the Stages Cycling app. The Stages Cycling app is available for both Apple iOS and Android compatible devices using Bluetooth 4.0.
- Stages Cycling app for iOS is available from the Apple App Store. Compatible with iOS 12 or newer.
- Stages Cycling app for Android is available from Google Play. Compatible with Android 8.0 or newer.
Both applications connect to the power meter via Bluetooth 4.0. The app utilizes your data or Wi-Fi signal to check for firmware updates. If an update is found, it will notify you to update. Installation time will vary depending on bandwidth but normally takes just a few minutes to complete. No need to remove the battery, do a zero reset, or do anything else. Just update the firmware and you're ready to ride.
