Overview

Use these instructions for any of the following use cases:

• Pair a new power meter to the bike
• Set up a replacement upper board
• Set up a replacement handlebar stem and upper board

Instructions

1. Download the Stages Cycling app. If already installed, make sure it is the latest version.

2. Open the Stages Cycling app.
3. Select the Device icon and then tap the link icon next to your Stages SB20 smart bike to connect. If your SB20 does not show up on the Devices screen, tap Add Device.
4. Select or swipe over to the Power meters tab.
   
   
5. Spin the cranks on your SB20 to make sure they are awake. Ensure that all battery isolation tabs have been removed from the power meters, and the batteries are installed correctly and relatively new.
6. Select Edit (Pencil icon) to edit the power meter's ANT+ IDs. 
7. Enter in the replacement power meter’s ANT+ ID. The ANT+ ID is located on a sticker on the inside edge of your power meter.
   
   
8. Select OK and the pairing will begin. After pairing is successful, both power meters will display Connected.
9. Once connected, perform a zero reset by hitting the zero reset button.
   
   
10. Make sure your crank arms are in the vertical position, then select Start.
    
    
11. After completing the zero reset, your bike is now ready to ride.
