Which apps and devices are compatible with the Stages SB200?

Modified on Mon, 5 Oct at 8:50 AM

The Stages SB200 is designed to connect seamlessly with a wide range of training apps and devices, giving you flexibility whether you prefer structured workouts, virtual riding, or simple manual control.

Connectivity options

The SB200 supports multiple connection standards:

  • Bluetooth
  • ANT+ (including FE-C controllable trainer profile)
  • WiFi (2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz)

This means it can connect to everything from cycling computers to phones, tablets, and laptops with ease.

Cycling computers

If your head unit supports ANT+ or Bluetooth, you can fully control the SB200 from your device:

  • Run structured workouts directly from your head unit
  • Let the bike adjust resistance automatically in real time (ERG mode)
  • Hit your interval targets without having to change resistance manually

If your head unit does not support controllable trainers, you can still use the SB200 to track power and ride freely. Resistance can be adjusted manually using the bike’s shift controls.

Training apps and virtual platforms

The SB200 is compatible with most major indoor cycling platforms that support controllable trainers and power data, including:

  • Zwift
  • TrainerRoad
  • Wahoo X
  • Rouvy
  • TrainingPeaks Virtual
  • MyWhoosh
  • FulGaz
  • Bkool

Mobile devices and laptops

Phones, tablets, and computers can connect via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. For laptops, an ANT+ dongle might still be helpful depending on your setup, though Wi-Fi support usually makes it unnecessary for most users.

No device? No problem!

You can ride the SB200 on its own—just use the built-in resistance controls for a fully manual experience.
