Your Stages Power meter will send a low battery signal when the battery is near depletion, however, not all head units or software will display the low battery warning. Due to this, we recommend checking your battery status periodically so that you can be prepared with a new battery and won't lose any of your ride data.

  2. Select Add Device, then select Power Meter.
  3. Activate your power meter by rotating your crank arms, then select your power meter from the Available Devices list and select Done.
  4. Once connected, select the Data tab from the power meter page to view the Battery level.

Check the battery status on your head unit

On some head unit models, you are able to check your battery status within your head unit. The power meter sends battery updates every few minutes, so it may be helpful to check after the power meter has been on and connected to the head unit for several minutes, otherwise, the head unit may report that sensor information is unavailable since it has not received the information yet.
