Does the LMVB need to be connected to the internet at all times?

For the optimal user experience, the LMVB should always be connected to the internet. Without internet connectivity users cannot use the "Send my ride data" function. In addition, regular updates to content and software, including security patches, will not happen. No internet connectivity will also limit the ability for remote support on the device.
