Factory installed Stages Power meters have the same compatibility requirements as our normal production power meters. It is crucial that you first check for the required clearance and compatibility with your bicycle before sending your crank in for a factory install. There must be enough space between the left crank arm and the crank arm, including clearance for any chainstay mounted brake caliper, cables, and other parts of the bike that could interfere with the crank's ability to rotate once the power meter is added.

Required Clearance:

Use a 10 mm hex key to check for a minimum of 10 mm of space between the crank arm and the chainstay (or other parts of the bicycle). The power meter mounting location begins at approx 5 cm from the center of the bottom bracket and ends at 12 cm from the bottom bracket.

from the center of the bottom bracket, a clearance zone is marked from 5 cm to 12 cm.
