The Stages® SIC2 EcoSCRN™ console featured on our Stages Cycling SC3.20 and newer bike models does not require batteries and is powered via a self-generating dynamometer located in the hub of the flywheel.
The optional SIC1 console available on the SC2 and SC1 bike models requires three (3) "C" cell batteries. The SIC1 console available on earlier SC3 bike models does not require batteries and is powered via a self-generating dynamometer located in the hub of the flywheel.
The Stages Power meter for indoor bikes requires 2 standard "AA" batteries with a projected battery life of over 2000 riding hours.
